Lasley Brahaney Architecture + Construction Named Best Residential Design-Build Firm 2020 (New Jersey) by BUILD Magazine

PRINCETON, NJ, June 16, 2020 – BUILD Magazine has announced its 2020 architecture and home construction winners, including Lasley Brahaney Architecture + Construction of Princeton, named Best Residential Design-Build Firm 2020 – NJ. A local Princeton business for more than 30 years, the firm was also recently recognized by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) as a Northeast Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award Winner.

“The Lasley Brahaney team is honored to receive this recognition from BUILD and NARI and to have opportunities to share our work with others in the industry,” said owner Marc Brahaney.

BUILD Magazine singled out the Farmhouse Transformation project for recognition. The Lasley Brahaney team renovated the first floor of a stone farmhouse, including kitchen, dining room and breakfast room, as well as adding a connecting hallway from the main house to an adjacent stone outbuilding, renovated into a bedroom. The renovation preserved original elements such as antique wide plank wood floors and a natural stone fireplace which are now complemented by modern touches in the kitchen and breakfast room. Each year, NARI presents CotY Awards to members who have demonstrated outstanding work through their remodeling projects. The judging panel selected winners based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, and degree of difficulty. The master bedroom and bathroom addition is featured in our Three Phase Renovation project.
